Summary

The Senior IT Project Manager at Data Analysis, Inc. (DAI) is responsible for leading the delivery and implementation of new technology systems and solutions across the organization, including the re-implementation and transformation of existing platforms as needed. This role combines project management, business analysis, and technology implementation expertise to successfully execute strategic initiatives involving cloud platforms, ERP systems, enterprise applications, software go-to-market initiatives, and third-party integrations. The Project Manager serves as both a tactical leader and strategic partner, collaborating across global teams and business functions to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management activities from requirements gathering through deployment, including project planning, scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage implementation and transformation projects involving cloud migrations, ERP systems, enterprise applications, software solutions, and third-party integrations.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project objectives, milestones, budgets, and timelines are achieved.
  • Analyze project progress, identify risks and issues, and adjust scope, schedules, or resources as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, providing regular project status updates and facilitating communication regarding project changes and impacts.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements, document business processes, and define project deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, requirements documents, functional specifications, testing plans, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Facilitate Agile and iterative project management methodologies to drive project execution and continuous improvement.
  • Work with business stakeholders to develop functional test scenarios, test plans, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify, track, and report project metrics, KPIs, risks, dependencies, and overall project performance.
  • Conduct post-project reviews, collect lessons learned, analyze project outcomes, and provide recommendations for future improvements.
  • Support information technology strategy development by evaluating business needs, technology trends, and organizational objectives.
  • Assist in maintaining quality standards, governance processes, disaster recovery considerations, and information security controls throughout project lifecycles.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project participants while fostering collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones and support business units and users as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
•    5+ years of experience managing cross-functional technology projects.
•    Demonstrated experience performing Business Analyst responsibilities, including requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder management.
•    Experience implementing enterprise technology solutions, including cloud platforms, ERP systems, enterprise applications, and software implementations.
•    Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or other iterative project management methodologies.
•    Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
•    Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
•    PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum Master, or related project management certification.
•    Experience with cloud platforms and technologies including AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Snowflake, or similar solutions.
•    Experience supporting global organizations and geographically distributed teams.the
•    Experience leading enterprise transformation, digital transformation, or system modernization initiatives.

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each workday), hear the telephone, and enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
