Summary

This position is a paid internship program that can also be used toward college credit. The job will involve analyzing and evaluating business systems as well as user and client needs to provide them with the best services. This role will document requirements, define scope, objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work on delivering real, impactful projects as part of your team
  • Work closely with colleagues, including IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and others, to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability
  • Create informative and repeatable reporting that highlights business trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct research and analysis to develop solutions
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams
  • Cultivate relationships with associates across the company
  • Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success 
  • Develop, implement new product strategies 
  • Own initiatives and drive results, making decisions and taking actions that are in the best interests of company.
  • Build business requirements and execute against the product strategy
  • Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Undergraduate pursuing a degree
  • Strategic and analytic orientation: A track record of analytic decision making and problem solving
  • Conceptual thinking skills complemented by strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing and credit risk management
  • He/she should foster innovation, drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and be able to consistently deliver results
  • Strong communication and influence skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Clear results orientation : Displays an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals
  • Strong Business Judgement
     

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform the essential job duties.  Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
