Summary


The Product Engineer provides both technical expertise and data-driven insight to support customer requirements, product demonstrations, installations, and the ongoing maintenance of company products. This role bridges product knowledge and analytical skills to lead, innovate, problem-solve, and implement ideas that contribute to organizational growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support customer requirements by validating feasibility and data logic.
  • Provide technical consultation and software demonstrations to prospective users.
  • Ensure product applications are implemented and functioning according to specifications.
  • Offer post-sales support by disseminating technical guidance on customer applications and solutions.
  • Perform data aggregation tasks such as segmenting, cleaning, and validating large datasets across multiple tables.
  • Implement conditional logic, identify duplicates, and apply quality assurance techniques to maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication of data rules, marketing list segmentation, and CRM import/export readiness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in a technology-related environment.
  • Proficiency in data processing with hands-on experience in tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and beyond (e.g., SQL, Python, or data transformation platforms). Demonstrated ability to manipulate, clean, analyze, and transform complex datasets using functions or formulas to support data workflows.
  • Experience in data aggregation and analysis using Excel, Google Sheets, or SQL.
  • Experience in print technology environments or communication platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Mailchimp, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; capable of translating business rules into data processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain accountability for timelines and deliverables.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical data insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Excel certifications such as Microsoft Office Specialist or similar are desirable.
  • Background in Marketing, Communications, Business Analytics, or Data Management is advantageous.
  • Experience working with Adobe Campaign, Alteryx or similar tools highly preferred.

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform essential job duties.  Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer, and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
