Summary
We’re looking for a results-driven and resourceful Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic procurement team. In this highly visible role, you’ll lead strategic sourcing initiatives that drive company-wide cost savings, elevate vendor performance, and support enterprise growth, starting with a strong focus on IT procurement for hardware, software, and technology services.
You’ll play a key role in shaping supplier relationships, conducting contract negotiations, managing RFP processes, and contributing to our supplier diversity and risk management programs. Compensation and Schedule
- $85K to $100K yearly salary, + 10% yearly Bonus target
- Hybrid work model, 3-days in office at Plano Coroporate hub, 3100 E Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074
Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and execute cost-saving initiatives across multiple categories—starting with IT (hardware, software, and services)

Manage the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, including vendor identification, RFI/RFP creation, bid evaluation, and supplier selection

Conduct contract negotiations to ensure optimal pricing, service levels, and compliance

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and deliver tailored procurement strategies

Analyze supplier proposals, build comparison models, and present recommendations to leadership

Maintain and optimize the contract database; lead renewal and renegotiation processes

Conduct annual supplier performance reviews and support supplier relationship management initiatives

Support the ongoing development of a diverse and resilient supplier network

Contribute to procurement process improvement and cross-departmental projects

Perform other sourcing-related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field—or equivalent relevant work experience

5+ years of sourcing or procurement experience, ideally with a focus on IT categories (software, hardware, services)

Proven success in contract negotiation and vendor performance management
Skills & Competencies

Strong negotiation, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication skills—clear, confident, and persuasive (written & verbal)

Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (preferred)

Experience working with MBO (Management by Objectives) performance structures
Working Conditions
Must be able to perform essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each workday), hear the telephone, and enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
