Summary

This is an in-house/on-site position. You must currently reside in the DFW Metroplex area of Texas to be considered. The Scrum Master Lead plays a pivotal role in guiding agile transformation by embedding agile best practices and fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and mature agile culture. The role ensures consistent delivery and clarity in requirements, empowers teams through coaching, and standardizes agile frameworks across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess agile maturity and tailor strategies to enhance team performance and delivery speed
  • Standardize and improve processes for requirements intake, planning, and refinement
  • Facilitate and mentor teams in agile ceremonies and framework adoption (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
  • Drive adoption of agile tools and ensure traceability and visibility across workflows
  • Coach leaders and stakeholders on supporting agile delivery and high-performing teams

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years in Scrum Master or Agile Coaching roles
  • Proven success leading agile transformations at the team and organizational level
  • Expertise in Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, X-Ray)

Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or ICAgile Certified Professional
  • Background in digital or media environments and requirements management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Agile Mastery: Deep understanding of Scrum and other agile frameworks, with ability to lead teams in applying these practices effectively
  • Requirements Management: Skilled in facilitating requirement gathering, writing user stories, and aligning deliverables with business goals
  • Team Coaching: Strong facilitation, mentoring, and conflict resolution skills to develop self-organizing, empowered teams
  • Tool Expertise: Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, X-Ray, and agile process automation tools
  • Change Agent: Ability to influence culture, support agile leadership, and continuously improve delivery models

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
