Summary

The Expeditor/Material Handler II for storing, handling and internal transportation of all materials necessary for operation within the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Locate requested item in warehouse with submitted Material Request form
  • Using forklift or pallet jack, safely transport and unload material to specified area of production
  • Wrap completed product and transport to shipping staging area
  • Unload and load incoming and outgoing trucks
  • May be asked to assist in other areas as needed
  • Print out labels for rolls and assign serial numbers
  • Receive and review purchase orders. Accurately input them into the system
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Communicate all safety concerns to management
  • Able to accurately locate material or lookup up PO by using the item number, or vendor
  • Follows strict adherence to all polices, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Drive continuous process improvements
  • Operate in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure 100% accuracy and quality with all orders
  • Maintain your equipment and keep your workstation clean and organized

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School graduate, or completion of GED preferred
  • Must have 1 year minimum experience operating forklift and pallet jack
  • Strong math skills required
  • Experience with NAV is a plus
  • Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity

Working Conditions

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in an indoor warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
