Summary

O'Neil Digital Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer based out of our corporate headquarters in Playa Vista, CA. As a Senior Engineer, you will require a technical network visibility SME to perform analysis for campus and data center network and knowledge of current network technologies including but not limited to Routing, Switching, Load Balancing, Domain Name Services (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Internet Protocol v4 and v6, Quality of Service (QoS), Voice over IP (VoIP). You will also implement Cisco application centric infrastructure for data center network to meet HITRUST and PCI DSS regulations for O'Neil healthcare and financial services. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Grow from individual contributor to lead. We need lead network engineers to help us manage our globally distributed team in LA, Texas, North Carolina, India, and China
  • Work with highly regulated healthcare and financial network services requiring next generation cyber security stack from Cisco, Checkpoint, and Fortinet to insurance network service confidentiality, integrity, and availability
  • Work with regulated data in mainland China utlizing Aliyun cloud services
  • Work with India financial data utilizing Google cloud services

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field
  • CCNP Route Switch/Data Center
  • 5+ years of performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting on a variety of network, LAN, WAN and wireless technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points and end users
  • Experience performing Core (L3) switch migrations
  • Advanced working knowledge in BGP and OSPF with route redistribution and policy-based routing
  • Firewall background experience in Cisco ASA, Fortinet and/or Check Point that includes: HA design/implementation, SSL-VPN, IPsec Ikev1-2, GRE tunneling, captive portal and endpoint protection, NAT
  • Measure, evaluate, implement and review network performance improvement projects
  • Use the best combination of Identity Services Engine (ISE) capabilities
  • Deploy advanced network visibility and protection utilizing Stealthwatch to ensure error-free installation and integration into our network design
  • Experience with Checkpoint CloudGuard, SandBlast, and next generation firewall features such as DLP, physical firewalls, Identity awareness, IPS, URL filtering, Antivirus, R80, and application control
  • Experience with FortiGate Next-Generation firewalls, secure SD-WAN, IPS, Secure Web Gateway, management and analytics
