Summary

The Senior Product Manager – MarketSmith US is responsible for leading the end-to-end product execution of the AI-native relaunch of the MarketSmith retail trading and research platform. This role drives roadmap delivery, brokerage integration coordination, AI-enabled feature development, and monetization execution within the broader DAI program management structure. The position operates as a senior individual contributor or team lead and is accountable for product performance outcomes aligned with commercial objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for the MarketSmith US mobile-first trading and research platform
  • Translate strategic objectives into detailed product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across engineering (U.S., India, China), brokerage operations, data science, marketing, and compliance.
  • Drive integration with William O’Neil Securities, ensuring seamless onboarding, trade execution, and regulatory compliance workflows.
  • Support development of AI-native product capabilities leveraging proprietary datasets, including chart intelligence, earnings analysis, and personalized insights.
  • Design and implement monetization strategies, including subscription tiers, feature gating, and funded-account incentives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as funded accounts, trade flow capture, subscription conversion, and engagement metrics.
  • Establish agile product development cadence and oversee sprint execution with global engineering teams.
  • Provide executive updates on product performance, launch milestones, and commercial impact.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in product management, preferably within fintech, brokerage, or digital trading platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional product development teams.
  • Strong understanding of retail trading platforms, brokerage mechanics, and mobile-first product development.

 

Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • MBA or advanced degree in related field.
  • Experience launching or scaling consumer trading platforms (e.g., brokerage or fintech environments).
  • Experience integrating AI-enabled functionality into production platforms.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile development methodologies.
  • Advanced analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable product decisions.
  • Knowledge of brokerage operations, clearing and custody workflows, and regulatory considerations.
  • Ability to manage global, cross-functional engineering teams across multiple time zones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
  • High level of accountability, organization, and execution discipline.
  • Knowledge of agentic AI in investment research

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
