Summary
The Quality Management System Coordinator (QMS Coordinator) is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring conformity with established quality standards by conducting internal audits, assist with document management, identifying quality issues, and coordinating corrective actions.
Compensation and Location
- Compensation: $26 - $31 Hourly.
- Location: On-site (No remote work avaible) 12655 Beatrice St., Los Angeles CA 90066.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure conformity with relevant quality standards as listed in the ODS Quality Manual
- Conduct internal quality audits across departments to assess conformity with QMS procedures
- Assist with developing, maintaining, and updating the QMS documentation including policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Monitors and observes processes to ensure they meet standards
- Determine quality improvement opportunities by collecting and reviewing data. (CPA, CPAR, CAPA)
- Assists with Root Cause Analysis/ Corrective Actions
- Demonstrate ability to champion changes in workflows, processes, and reporting requirements
- Assist with cross departmental trainings
- Attend meetings and relay accurate and new information to teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
- High School or GED equivalent preferred
- One (1) year of experience in a Quality Assurance role preferred
- Experience with ISO/Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing is highly desirable
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

Working Conditions
Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work may be performed in an office, warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to perform the following activities for the majority of the day: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb. In addition requires the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to noise and be required to wear hearing protection for the duration of the shift.
