Summary

Provides day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal systems software and hardware. Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a diverse environment. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. 

Compensation

$24 - $27 Hourly. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn and implement approved IT policies, processes, and procedures
  • Log all incidents and service requests in the Service Management system
  • Triage and resolve support requests coming to IT via phone, e-mail, and self-service portal
  • Escalate incidents and requests following escalation and notification procedures
  • Collaborate with team members in other regional and international offices
  • Create and use Knowledgebase to investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents
  • Meet Service Level Agreements and Continuous Improvement objectives
  • Research and recommend IT hardware and software for purchase
  • Administrate accounts and access rights for all org-wide applications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Less than 1 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software technology, including networking concepts
  • Ability to perform assembly and installation of computer systems
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Strong customer service skills and service orientation
  • Problem solving skills

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
