Summary
The Technical Architect will design and enhance software architectures as well as individually and/or with others enhance, design, develop, implement, and/or productionize software solutions regardless of the original architect of that solution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design architectures for solutions for high and all other complexity projects
- Enhance, design, develop, implement, and/or productionize solutions for various technical projects, regardless of the original architect of that solution
- Proactively seek, identify, and collaborate on innovative solutions for complex technical problems and aid in solving business problems
- Initiate process/technology improvements
- Proactively incorporate and define standards based upon best practices especially including secure solutions
- Challenge conventional practices in a collaborative fashion
- Collaborate with co-workers to achieve common goals
- Participate and assist in business development opportunities as requested
- Partner with business and/or sales to drive revenue growth
- Communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely, and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely manner
- Ensure all work products are documented, stored, and managed according to company standards
- Ensure open communication flows in all directions
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, best practices and standards
- Conforming with all applicable compliance and business standards
- Lead and participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure that the architectures and standards are being followed
- Ensuring adherence to compliance and business standards
- Lead, innovate, and implement ideas to support growth/scale
- Perform complex estimating and requirements gathering efforts
- Learn and apply a fundamental understanding of key aspects of the business(es) supported
- Become the subject matter expert and share their expertise on the systems and business supported
- Possess big-picture understanding of the business and have the ability to challenge the status- quo
- Accurate and prompt entry of time for all estimated and actual work
- Considers cost and resource efficiency in performance of all job responsibilities
- Identifies inefficiencies (including costs) and takes steps to reduce or eliminate them
- Uses budgeting concepts in managing resources (team staff, infrastructure, tools, etc.)
- Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity
- Develop and deliver training as appropriate
- Ensure that those providing the most value to the organization are recognized and rewarded appropriately
- Lead, mentor, and support staff to achieve initiatives
- Manage staffing, provide structure and opportunities for career growth

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline required
- Able to collaborate and work in a team environment; practices the principle of team over individual
