About Us

Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer with expertise in testing methodologies, SQL databases, and a strong understanding of finance, accounting, and capital markets. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial applications testing, trade lifecycle, and data validation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• • 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in finance, banking, or capital markets.
  • Strong proficiency in manual and automation testing.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL queries for financial data validation.
  • Experience with testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman, or similar.
  • Understanding of trade lifecycle, financial instruments, and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with capital markets, stock trading, and investment platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.

  Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based financial applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance (SEBI, FINRA, IFRS, GAAP, etc.).

  Scripting knowledge (Python, Java) for test automation.

   

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for financial applications related to accounting, capital markets, and trading platforms.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for financial systems.
• Validate complex financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting using SQL queries.
• Work closely with business analysts and developers to understand financial workflows and ensure system accuracy.
• Automate test cases using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent.
• Conduct API testing for financial data integration and third-party services.
• Identify and report defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices.
